INA790A/INA790B Bidirectional Amplifiers
Texas Instruments INA790A/INA790B Bidirectional Amplifiers are designed with enhanced Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) rejection circuitry to suppress large (dv/dt) common-mode signals. The INA790B also enables real-time continuous current measurements in switching systems. These measurements are critical for inline current measurements in motor-drive applications and for solenoid valve control applications. The INA790B voltage output amplifier features an integrated shunt resistor of 400µΩ and monitors bidirectional current over a common-mode range of -4V to 110V, independent of the supply voltage. An adjustable gain option helps to optimize the system's dynamic range. Texas Instruments INA790B Bidirectional Current Sense Amplifier operates from a single 2.7V to 5.5V power supply, drawing a maximum supply current of 3.75mA. The INA790A/INA790B current sense amplifiers feature an operating temperature range of -40°C to 125°C and are available in a 15-pin VQFN package.
