AMC3306M25/AMC3306M25-Q1 Delta-Sigma Modulator
Texas Instruments AMC3306M25/AMC3306M25-Q1 Precision Delta-Sigma (ΔΣ) Modulator is optimized for shunt-based current measurements. The device has a fully integrated isolated DC/DC converter that allows single-supply operation from the device's low side. The reinforced capacitive isolation barrier is certified according to VDE V 0884-11 and UL1577. This isolation barrier separates parts of the system that operate on different common-mode voltage levels and protects lower-voltage parts from damage. The Texas Instruments AMC3306M25/AMC3306M25-Q1 input is optimized for direct connection to shunt resistors or other low-voltage-level signal sources. The integrated isolated DC/DC converter allows unconstrained shunt placement, independent of any high-side supply usually required to power the isolated modulator.
