Capacitive Switch Controllers
ROHM Semiconductor Capacitive Switch Controllers are highly integrated devices that interface via I2C to a host processor to provide a simple solution for adding capacitive switch operation. These capacitive switch controllers integrate sensor data processing and application functions, greatly reducing host CPU load. These low-power devices support up to 20 sensor input channels, with the BU2107 Controller ICs supporting 4x4 and 6x6 sensor matrixes. These ROHM Semiconductor Capacitive Switch Controllers also feature automatic self-calibration if external noise and temperature drift are detected.
