Internet of Things ready, the Curiosity Development Board comes with several options for the user interface including physical switches, an mTouch® capacitive button, and an on-board potentiometer. Accessory boards are available via the MikroElectronika Mikrobus™ interface footprint. In addition, users can add Bluetooth® Low Energy communication with the Microchip RN4020 module.

AC320007 maXTouch® Curiosity Pro Board

Microchip Technology AC320007 maXTouch^® Curiosity Pro Board is an extension board for Atmel's Xplained Pro evaluation platform and Curiosity family of development boards. This Microchip Technology AC320007 Curiosity Pro board is designed with a 320 x 480 RGB LCD screen and a capacitive touch sensor with a maXTouch touchscreen controller. The maXTouch Curiosity board enables users to experiment with Graphical User Interface (GUI) applications on an LCD. The DIP switch can be used to select different interfaces like 3-wire and 4-wire SPI, parallel, and RGB parallel interface modes to control the LCD.
