Digi XBee® SX Modules

Digi XBee® SX Modules are 1W 900MHz RF devices for low-power, mission-critical wireless applications. The XBee SX utilize the DigiMesh® networking protocol and feature redundant mesh network operation. 

The Digi XBee SX Modules support low-power sleeping nodes and have an RF line-of-sight range up to 65 miles. These devices feature strong interference blocking and combine range, data redundancy, and data reliability.

​The XBee SX modules can be configured with free XCTU software or by AT or API command sets. The modules are pre-certified for use in multiple countries. The Xbee SX also include integrated antennas for fast OEM design development and time to market. 

With 256-bit AES encryption, the modules are secure and provide reliable critical data delivery between devices. The small XBee surface-mount footprint saves valuable board space.

  • Available channel frequencies include 101 low and middle data rate; 50 high data rate
  • Receiver sensitivity includes, low -113dBm; middle -106dBm; high -103dBm
  • (XBee SX) low: ±250kHz: 40dB, middle ±250kHz: 30dB, high ±500kHz:30dB 
  • (Xbee-PRO SX) low ±500kHz: 50dB, middle ±500kHz: 40dB, high ±1000kHz: 45dB
