ams OSRAM FIREFLY™ SFH 4030B & SFH 4060B Infrared Emitters
ams OSRAM FIREFLY™ SFH 4030B and SFH 4060B Infrared (IR) Emitters deliver brighter infrared illumination while extending battery life, and are available in a small SMT package. These IR emitters utilize thin-film IR:6 chip technology to define the capabilities of IR-based applications such as eye tracking in Augmented Reality (AR)/Virtual Reality (VR) systems. The FIREFLY™ SFH 4030B and SFH 4060B IR emitters are housed in an entirely black package that enables seamless, almost invisible integration into modern device designs. The SFH 4030B IR emitter features a centroid wavelength option of 930nm and 940nm for optimized camera sensitivity and reduced red glow. The SFH 4060B IR emitter features a centroid wavelength option of 850nm for high camera sensitivity. Typical applications include appliances and tools, authentication, and eye, face, and hand tracking.
