Texas Instruments TSWDC155EVM Evaluation Module (EVM)

Texas Instruments TSWDC155EVM Evaluation Module (EVM) field-programmable gate array (FPGA) data capture card is a generic board ideal for interfacing with a wide array of analog-to-digital converters (ADCs), digital-to-analog converters (DACs), and products in the medical imaging domain. With an onboard LMK, high-performance clocks can be generated for various validation tests, and the 1Gb onboard DDR3 on the Texas Instruments TSWDC155EVM provides abundant space for data captured from the device-under-test (DUT) evaluation modules to be stored.

The Artix®-7 FPGA provides abundant lines for GPIOs, clocks, and syncs that can be used on the DUT evaluation module for easier synchronization and automation during evaluation. It uses EZ-USB® FX3 and USB Type-C™ interfaces that are extremely fast and reduce overhead times. All control is done from a USB Type-C cable through the various DUT GUIs developed for evaluation.

Features

  • High-speed data capture and transfer through FX3
  • USB-based firmware/configuration file download
  • Onboard LMK for generating high-performance clocks
  • 1Gb double data rate (DDR) on board to store data captured from the DUT evaluation module
