Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MP1475S & MP1474S Synchronous Step-Down Converters

Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MP1475S and MP1474S Synchronous Step-Down Converters are high-frequency, rectified, switch-mode converters with built-in power MOSFETs. The MP1475S delivers 3A continuous output current, while the MP1474S delivers 2A with load and line regulation over a 4.5V to 16V input range. The synchronous mode operation on both series delivers higher efficiency over the output current-load range. Current mode operation provides a fast transient response, which eases loop stabilization. Protection features include overcurrent protection (OCP) and thermal shutdown (TSD). MPS) MP1475S and MP1474S Synchronous Step-Down Converters need only a few external components and are offered in an 8-pin TSOT23 package.
