Murata Type 1GC Electric Imp (IMP005) Wi-Fi® Module is an embedded network controller solution for consumer-grade applications. The LBWA1UZ1GC-901 works in conjunction with the Electric Imp Cloud Platform (IMP005) and is powered by the Infineon CYW43907 chip. Murata Type 1GC Wi-Fi Module features Wi-Fi, TCP/IP network stack, security supplicant, and other network applications.

Infineon CYW43907 Embedded Wireless System-on-a-Chip (SoC) is uniquely suited for IoT applications. The SoC supports all rates in the IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n specifications. The device includes an Arm Cortex-based applications processor, a single-stream IEEE 802.11n MAC/baseband/radio, dual-band 5GHz, and 2.4GHz transmit power amplifier (PA), and a receive low-noise amplifier (LNA). The SoC also supports optional antenna diversity for improved RF performance in difficult environments.
