Panasonic Electronic Components PAN1740 Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE) Module

Panasonic PAN1740 BLUETOOTH® Low Energy (BLE) Module is a single-mode Bluetooth system-on-chip module optimized for low power and small size. The PAN1740, the next generation Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) Module from Panasonic, offers reduced form factor, significantly lower power consumption, and embedded BLE stack. This SMD component is manufactured in a small 9mm x 9.5mm x 1.8mm footprint, one of the smallest BLE footprints available, with fully shielded case, chip antenna, and integrated crystal oscillators. The 5mA power consumption of the PAN1740 BLE module in Tx or Rx mode allows the use of coin cell batteries and decreases battery requirements up to 50% when compared to BLE devices currently on the market. The PAN1740 is qualified to the Bluetooth 4.0 standard with FCC, IC, and CE certifications pending.
