Skyworks Solutions Inc. Si3462 Single-Port Power Management Controllers are designed for IEEE 802.3at-compliant Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE). The Skyworks Solutions Inc. Si3462 can be powered from a 50V input using a shunt regulator or from 50V and 3.3V power supplies for power efficiency. The PD detection feature utilizes a reliable 3-point algorithm to prevent false detection events. The Si3462 includes intelligent protection features like input under-voltage lockout (UVLO), classification-based current limiting, and output short-circuit protection.
