Skyworks Solutions Inc. Timing Solutions for Xilinx Reference Designs are flexible timing devices that enable hardware designers to simplify clock generation, distribution, and jitter attenuation. These devices include network synchronizers, jitter-attenuating clocks, clock generators, clock buffers, PCIe clocks and buffers, and oscillators. Skyworks Solutions Inc. timing solutions are widely used in several Xilinx evaluation boards and development kits.

Skyworks Solutions Inc. clocks use proprietary DSPLL and MultiSynth technologies to generate any combination of frequencies with ultra-low jitter, enabling best-in-class clock tree integration. Clock buffers provide low-jitter, low-skew clock distribution with integrated format/voltage level translation. PCIe clocks/buffers combine Gen 1/2/3/4/5 compliance with on-chip series termination, simplifying design.

Xilinx Artix®-7 FPGAs are optimized for low power applications requiring serial transceivers and high DSP and logic throughput. The AC701 Evaluation Kit (EK-A7-AC701) provides a hardware environment for developing and evaluating designs targeting the Artix-7 FPGAs. The AC701 Evaluation Kit offers features common to many embedded processing systems, including a DDR3 SODIMM memory, a 4-lane PCI Express® interface, a tri-mode Ethernet PHY, general-purpose I/O, and a UART interface.
