Texas Instruments ADS7884/5 SAR Analog-to-Digital Converters
Texas Instruments ADS7884/85 MicroPower Miniature SAR Analog-to-Digital Converters provide 8-bit (ADS7885) and 10-bit (ADS7884) resolution within a 3MSPS ADC. A capacitor based SAR A/D converter with inherent sample and hold is included on the device. Controlled by the CS and SCLK signals, the serial interface in each device offers options for glueless connections with microprocessors and DSPs. The falling edge of CS is sampled through the input signal, while the SCLK is used for conversion and serial data output. Other features for the Texas Instruments ADS7884/85 include a wide supply range of 2.7V to 5.5V, low-power consumption, and a power-saving powerdown for the device when operating at lower conversion speeds.Features
