Texas Instruments TAS5806MDEVM Amplifier Evaluation Module (EVM)
Texas Instruments TAS5806MDEVM Amplifier Evaluation Module (EVM) showcases the most current TI digital input stereo Class-D audio amplifier with enhanced processing and DirectPath HP driver. The evaluation module uses the PurePath Console Motherboard (PPCMB) and the PurePath Console 3 Software. There are two TAS5806MD devices present on the evaluation module, which allows the user to evaluate the device in stereo and mono mode. Additionally, having two devices on the evaluation module allows the user to evaluate process flows designed explicitly for stereo, mono, or 2.1 systems. The PVDD supply is provided via the TAS5806MDEVM and is regulated to 5VDC and 3.3VDC on the PPCMB. The PPCMB provides the I2S, I2C, and 3.3VDC to the TAS5806MDEVM.
