Texas Instruments TPA3136AD2EVM Audio Amplifier Evaluation Module demonstrates the TPA3136AD2, an efficient class D audio power amplifier for driving 2 bridged-tied stereo speakers at 10W per channel. Only one TPA3136AD2 device is populated on the evaluation module that operates from a single power supply from 4.5V to 14.4V. Advanced EMI suppression technology is utilized through the TPA3136AD2, with spread spectrum control which enables the use of inexpensive ferrite bead filters at the outputs. System cost is reduced while meeting EMC requirements. An auto-recovery feature fully protects the device against faults with short-circuit protection and thermal protection.
