Texas Instruments TPS3842/TPS3842-Q1 Undervoltage Supervisors
Texas Instruments TPS3842/TPS3842-Q1 Undervoltage Supervisors offer 1.5% accuracy, fast detection time, and 850nA supply current. The 42V input voltage supervisors directly connect to a 12V battery to continuously monitor undervoltage (UV) conditions.
The TI TPS3842/TPS3842-Q1 utilizes a small DRL package for size-constrained applications. The built-in Hysteresis on the SENSE pin prevents false reset signals when monitoring a supply voltage rail. 1%, 5%, and 10% Hysteresis voltage options deliver design flexibility to support voltage transients.
SENSE is decoupled from VDD and can monitor higher and lower voltages than VDD. Fixed threshold variants provide accurate low IQ voltage monitoring. Adjustable threshold variants allow an adaptable undervoltage threshold setting with external resistors. The TPS3842/TPS3842-Q1 enables capacitor programmable de-glitch on the SENSE with the CTS pin and capacitor programmable reset delay timing with the CTR pin.
The TPS3842-Q1 devices are AEC-Q100 qualified for automotive applications.
