Texas Instruments TX7516EVM Evaluation Module (EVM)

Texas Instruments TX7516EVM Evaluation Module (EVM) evaluates the performance and features of the TX7516. The TX7516 is a highly integrated high-performance transmitter solution for ultrasound imaging systems. It has 16 pulser circuits, 16 transmit/receive switches, and supports on-chip beamforming.

Texas Instruments TX7516EVM has a built-in current-sensing circuit that can evaluate power dissipation when the TX7516 is operating in different modes. The evaluation module provides a programmable low-jitter beamforming clock up to 320MHz to the TX7516. The TX7516EVM comes with a GUI that can be used to monitor the device power, program the TX7516 memory/registers, and change the beamforming clock frequency.
