Vishay Semiconductors VEML6046X00 Color Sensor is an AEC-Q100-qualified surface-mount high-accuracy 16-bit, RGBIR color sensor with an I²C interface. This sensor includes high sensitive photodiodes, a low-noise amplifier, and a 16-bit A/D converter. The VEML6046X00 color sensor supports an easy-to-use I²C bus communication interface and additional interrupt features. This color sensor operates at a 2.5V to 3.6V supply voltage range. The VEML6046X00 color sensor is available in a miniature opaque 2.67mm x 2.45mm x 0.6mm (L x W x H) package dimensions. This color sensor is RoHS compliant and halogen-free. The VEML6046X00 sensor is ideal for RGBIR in automotive applications like display backlight controls, infotainment systems, rear view mirror dimming, lighting control systems, and color recognition.
