The Maxim MAX11261 is a 6-channel, 24-bit delta-sigma ADC that delivers exceptional performance, generating precision DC measurements and sample rates up to 16 ksps while consuming very little power. Features of the MAX11261 include a 64-entry on-chip FIFO, an I²C-compatible serial interface, and a 6.2 nV/√Hz noise programmable gain amplifier (PGA). The integrated PGA offers gain settings from 1x to 128x and provides isolation of the signal inputs from the switched capacitor sampling network. This allows designers to use the MAX11216 with high-impedance sources without compromising available dynamic range.
