Mouser-Sponsored Dragon Racing Holds a Top 3 Spot in Formula-E

Mouser-Sponsored Dragon Racing is gearing up for the March 12th Formula E race in Mexico City.

March 3, 2016 - The Mouser Electronics-sponsored Dragon Racing Formula E Team hung onto third place in the electrifying fourth race of the FIA Formula E all-electric car racing series at the Buenos Aires ePrix. Mouser is sponsoring the 2015-16 Formula E team, along with its valued supplier partners Molex and Panasonic.

With four races behind them, the Mouser-sponsored team is tenaciously in the mix for this year's Formula E Championship.

Loic Duval, winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2013 who drives the Dragon No. 6 car finished sixth in Buenos Aires. European Formula Master Champion Jerome D'Ambrosio finished back in the pack at 16^th behind the wheel of Dragon No. 7, but gained two points in the standings by clocking the fastest lap in the race.

Duval and D'Ambrosio are now ranked fourth and fifth overall with 62 total points, putting the team in third place in the team standings.

Next up the team travels to the Mexico City ePrix on March 12. The 1.32-mile (2.14 kilometer) course will use part of the historic Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez with seating for 40,000 racing fans.

The Mouser-backed team first attained third place following a stunning 3-4 finish on December 19 in Punta del Este, Uruguay.
